Heartbreaker Blog Hop... Broken Heart Syndrome

 Who taught you how to
BREAK  a HEART?
Who exposed you to the Broken Heart Syndrome?

Per the Mayo Clinic (I love Google) Broken Heart Syndrome is when a part of your heart temporarily enlarges and doesn't pump well, while the remainder of the heart functions normally.
The symptoms of broken heart syndrome are treatable, and it usually reverses itself in about a week.

It's almost the same as having your heart broken by someone you love. A part of you malfunctions, while the rest of you continues to work. However, it may take a little longer than a week to heal from it. Although, you may be tempted to do the below, what are some safe remedies for a Broken Heart?

1. Regain your independence (if you lost it)
2. Laugh louder than you cry (if you submit to your tears)
3. Forgive and let go (if you still blame and are still holding on)
4. Spend time with family and friends (they really can help)
5. Love again!

Broken heart syndrome is caused by stressful situations.
A Broken heart is caused by someone better known as a Heartbreaker.
Here's an example of one of them!!
Agent T. Ryker
(At least this is what he looks like in mind's eye. Your version might be a tad different :)

Agent T. Ryker prides himself on his discipline—being a product of a rapist kind of does that to a guy. Goal oriented, Juliana Pratt is on a mission to satisfy the curse passed down to her by her wanton mother.
Will Juliana be able to push Agent T. Ryker's stubborn discipline over the edge?
Or will the delectable agent maintain control, take what he wants, and crush not only Juliana's heart but also her mission— leaving her hungry “curse” famished forever?

Here's a little peek of Agent T. Ryker teaching Juliana how to break a heart...

Ana marched through the house until she arrived at the library, where she found Ryker standing by the window. “You!”
He glanced over at her, then spun around just in time to catch the blow she landed across his face.
“You—you bastard!”
He didn’t try to defend himself. He didn’t even flinch. Instead, he gallantly took the slap like a man. In fact, a sly grin developed beneath his haughty expression. He crossed his arms over his chest. “Oh, come on, Juliana,” he said harshly. “You can do better than that.”
Enraged, her body trembled. “You fucking son-of-a bitch!” Unable to control her rage, her hurt, she hit him again across the cheek, harder this time. “I—” Tears welled to her eyes, and a lump began to form in her throat. She shoved at his unswayable, smug posture with her hands. “I trusted you!”
“Perhaps that was your first mistake." His words grated between thinned, tight lips...
"...I was falling for you, and I thought you felt something for me, too, but—” Her voice cracked. “But you were only using me for your own personal gain!”
He smiled, but the grin didn’t reach his cynical eyes. “Falling for me?” He chuckled. “Princess, I’m afraid that would have been your second mistake..."

My favorite heartbreaker is Smitty from the book "The Beast In Him" by Shelly Laurenston. He was just drop dead gorgeous and sexy and he broke Jessie Ann's heart when he wouldn't claim her with "the Smith mate maul" If you want to know what the heck I'm talking about.......READ THE BOOK. :) In fact I recommend you read the series.
